Fuchs® Audio Technology | Casino Series

Casino Series Features

The Casino Series from Fuchs® Audio Technology has finally brought the tradition of channel switching Fuchs® tones to a more affordable price range. Over three years of R&D has brought the high build quality and awesome tones people expect from Fuchs® to a more affordable price range. The original Blackjack 21™ and Lucky 7™ have been redesigned for 2011 and, for 2012, the Four Aces™, The Full House™-50 and the Wild Card™ 100, complete the series. These models have a great classic warm yet detailed American clean tone, matched to a new overdrive circuit with an adjustable voice that goes from warm woman-tone, through D-style, to English rock, with the mere twist of the overdrive TONE control. With power levels from 4 to 100 watts, a killer digital reverb, and a 5-year warranty, this series is already a winner!

Speakers

All Fuchs® products feature Eminence speakers as standard, unless otherwise stated. The following speakers are stocked and available at no up-charge: Red, White and Blues, Wizard, Delta-Pro, or Texas Heat. We also stock the WGS 1265, and Celestion 'Cream™back' which can also be supplied without up-charge. Speaker upgrades are available from other manufacturers such as Celestion, Tone-Tubby, EV, and Fane. Upcharges apply, and will be quoted upon request depending on the speaker type.

Four Aces™

Four Aces™

The Four Aces™ is a unique push-pull Class-AB output stage using a 6SN7 Octal preamp tube as a triode output tube. Possibly the coolest home practice, studio recording, and maybe even small gig amp ever! The amp features two channels. Channel one is a single volume control non-master channel with high, mid and low controls, a gain boost which works while keeping the tone controls active, and a digital reverb based on the same technology used in the Good Verbrations™ pedal. This provides a fully adjustable lush reverb, with level and decay controls. Channel two has its own input gain control and output master volume. It shares tone controls with channel one, as well as the tone controls being active with the gain boost activated.

The Four Aces™ is based on two 12AX7 preamp stages and a 12AT7 driver stage. A surprising amount of clean headroom is available before the output stage begins distorting with a sweet yet warm and natural overdrive. Its tone provides a cutting rock edge, filled with harmonic richness and chime. The circuit design also is "attenuator friendly". The Four Aces™ and its higher-powered siblings the Lucky-7™-II, Blackjack 21™-II and Full House™-50 have a preamp stage inspired by our ODS® and TDS® designs, which allow clean-to-mean from the guitar volume control on both the clean and dirty channels. What's great about this power level, is that you can use the amp as a single channel amp with reverb, gain boost, and natural amp overload, as a single channel high gain amp (using the overdrive channel and the guitar volume to control everything), or run it as a traditional channel switcher amp!

Lucky Seven™

The Lucky-7™ II

The Lucky-7™-II is a single ended Class-A output stage. You may use either a 6CA7 for 7 watts, a 6L6 for 7-watts, or 6V6 tube for 5-watts. A very cool home practice, studio recording, and even a small gig amp!

The Lucky-7™ is based on two 12AX7 preamp stages and a 12AT7 driver stage. A surprising amount of clean headroom is available before the output stage begins distorting with an aggressive rock edge, that's sweet yet warm up until clipping, and into natural overdrive. Its tone provides a cutting rock edge, filled with a glassine harmonic richness and chime. More rock oriented than the Four Aces™, due to the single ended circuit's harmonic structure. The circuit design also is "attenuator friendly". The Lucky-7™-II and its siblings the Four Aces™, Blackjack 21™-II and Full House™-50 have a preamp stage inspired by our ODS® and TDS® designs, which allow clean-to-mean from the guitar volume control on both the clean and dirty channels. What's great about this power level, is that you can use the amp as a single channel amp with reverb, gain boost, and natural amp overload, as a single channel high gain amp (using the overdrive channel and the guitar volume to control everything), or run it as a traditional channel switcher amp!

Channel one is a single volume control non-master channel with high, mid and low controls, a gain boost which works while keeping the tone controls active, and a digital reverb based on the same technology used in the Good Verbrations™ pedal. The unit also features a passive effects loop, and 4-8-16 ohm outputs. The amps are built on aluminum chassis for light weight and superior tone. The power and output iron are custom made in the USA by Heyboer Corp. The amp features single point grounding, regulated DC power for the filaments and all relays.
