"[T]hank YOU guys for your amplifiers --- as I relayed to Andy, I've been playing for nearly 40 years, through every brand name and rig you can imagine, and there is not an amplifier being built today that can replicate both the clean and overdrive tones that my ODS provides. And you talk reliability? My band is booked months in advance, and I have never before had the confidence in my personal tone that I have with my ODS 50. It always sounds stellar and has never given me a moments trouble --- Cheers and best wishes! ... and one day, I hope to upgrade to a Triple Drive -- when my boy is done with college!"
— Geoffrey MacGregor
"Man, I just wanted to let you know I have owned a Lucky 7 combo, a Train 45, and now I will soon have the ODS 50. I love your products and it seems you love what you do. I only hope one day I can be successful in what I love to do! You are a lucky man! Well, I would say hard-working, not so much lucky... ha! Thanks for all you do and always answering any concerns I may have. Keep up the great building!"
— Kolby Towe
"A response from the man himself!? That, my friend, is customer service that goes above and beyond the call of duty! The clean tones glisten with both heft and transparency, and, as if that weren't enough, I also have at my disposal the smoothest, most organic overdrive I've ever heard in a single amplifier. I have been playing for nearly 40 years on both stage, studio and now as an instructor. I have run my signal through some of the most sought-after rigs on the planet... and I can report to you that nothing I have yet heard or played through is in quite the same league as your ODS design. (Would love to get my hands on a Triple Drive -- maybe when my boy gets out of college!) Thanks for doing what you do, so well."
— Geoffrey MacGregor
"I am thrilled, Andy, elated and floored with my new headstone! The amp "possessed" the entire room and myself on NYE! The band is still in shock! I have a long string of shows coming up. Thank you so much for your personal follow-up!"
— Leland Smith
"From Bonedo.de (a German consumer test magazine for musicians). The conclusion is 5 stars out of 5. According to Thomann, nobody ever got 5 stars. I'll translate their verdict for you non-German speaking Germans: 'World Champion! We don't need to say more. The Fuchs ODS-30 is 100% convincing on all levels. This amp has an unbelievably transparent sound and an extreme dynamic range. From crystal-clear clean sounds so singing lead tones - everything in this package is top notch. It sets itself apart from anything out there, even the best of the best. Every instrument's characteristic and player's touch is brought to the surface within any level of gain. Anything is possible with this amp, no matter what music you are playing. On stage and in the studio it covers any expectation anyone might possibly have. The footswitch, which is part of the package lets you dial into the world of high-end tube amplification at its best. Workmanship is unmatched, only the best components are being used here. Of course, the Fuchs ODS-30 is not exactly a bargain when it comes to your wallet. But it's worth every single cent. Please try one!'"

"I gotta tell you - I just turned up my Fuchs Hot Rod Deluxe mod to paint peeling levels a little bit ago and it melted my brain... un-frickin' believable. And it's not like I own a bunch of solid state Crate amps and then got this mod... my current amp lineup is a PRS Dallas 50, Mesa Lonestar Special, Mesa Express 5:25, Egnater Renegade 65w, Brown Note D'Lite 22/33, and a couple other tube amps. Not to mention the countless others I have tried. :-) Bottom line, she sounds incredible. Couple of personal tweaks but I have never had something sound so killer straight out of the box. It makes the Brown Note sound flabby and the Mesa's now sound tinny! Killer job!"
— Scott Evans
"I just got this amp [TDS 100] and, wow, I am very impressed. First, the reverb just blew me away and the tone of this amp, what can I say, the amp is singing! Since we don't have a lot of places here in Quebec where we can see and hear about your products, [I will] be sure that during our tour this summer I am gonna make sure that some people get a great listen to this great amp."
— Marc de Blois
"After having the ODS 30 Deluxe for a while and really running it through its paces, I feel I'm now qualified to offer some feedback: The ODS is the sound I've been hearing in my head my whole guitar playing life. It's dynamic, expressive, revealing and has an almost vocal-like quality and "bloom" to individual notes. For the first time I am completely unimpeded by my amplifier and the notes seem to fly from my brain to my fingertips and beyond. The dynamic response is unreal! I can go from a whisper to a scream simply by varying my touch and the amp responds instantaneously - the kind of immediate response you get when driving a Ferrari! The only way I can describe it is that it's as if I'm singing from my guitar. Every guitar I plug into the amp retains its own individual character, and you hear the differences between them clearly. I cannot begin to say enough good things about the ODS, but I'll try to sum it up with this: as a lifelong tone junkie who has bought and sold literally hundreds of amps in search of "THE TONE" my quest is officially over. The Fuchs ODS is "THE TONE"!! ... the only creepy part is how you somehow heard that sound rattling around inside my head for the last 30 years and NAILED it!! Andy, you ROCK!!!!"
— Bob Bailey (Dealer Support Specialist, Roland US)
"The ODS 30 SLX is the best tone I've ever had in a guitar amp. I've tried vintage Marshall Plexi amps, twin reverbs with heavy pedal work... but nothing compares to the ODS 30 with one cable from guitar straight into the amp and just using the amp overdrive foot switch. First note out of the box was an A chord and nothing has ever sounded sweeter than that. I let it ring for about 10 seconds while smiling to the heavens and I've been singing your praises since."
— Brian Gilreath
"I just wanted to say thank you for the awesome Jersey Thunder pedal and the way-cool t-shirt, it fits perfect. As far as the pedal, I used it in a nine-hour recording session last Saturday, and it made my bass sit perfectly in the mixes we're doing for our album. Everyone was commenting on how nicely my bass tracks sounded and that they almost didn't even need further mixing to enrich the sound to studio quality. I had lots of fun tweaking the settings to get all sorts of really good tones out of my '74 Rickenbacker 4001 and Fender American Standard Jazz 4-string basses. I'll be singing its praises and showing it off to all my office-mates and musicians; thanks again!"
— Len Knitter (Orange USA - Technical Customer Support)
"So after 4 long months, my Blackjack 21 came in. I haven't had a ton of time playing it yet, but I have played it through two different setups, with great differences. First, on the day it came in, I ran the Blackjack through a small 1x12 Mesa Cab with a Mesa speaker (not sure of the model). Then I played my dad's ES-335 (with '57s). The sound and tone was absolutely immense, detailed and rich, with chimey, Fender-like cleans and an overdrive very Marshall-esque. I was really impressed. Damn right man! I'm having fun tweaking the EQ right now, trying to dial in exactly the sound I want. The problem is that I haven't found a tone I don't like with this amp! It's so solid any way you hear it. I love being able to dial in some reverb too; with that option I'm able to get a kind of '60's-ish heavy rock-type of verb (Outside Woman Blues-ish) to a subtle but hot verb, like an early Van Halen sound."
— Brave Ulysses (from The Gear Page.net)
"Wanted to also tell you, recently I have not really strapped on the Fuchs and let her fly - been actually too long - part of it was my ear troubles last year. But tonight I did - and started twisting knobs - man this thing is amazing. Maybe the tubes and speakers have finally come into their own, or maybe I'm just getting a little better at understanding and dialing her in. The tones I was getting are incredible - especially when comparing them to other amps - there is no comparison, this thing is in a league of its own. I plugged in three different distortion boxes - but when simply switching the Fuchs into distortion, it puts them all to shame. You really don't need to put anything in front of this amp - just let it do its thing. Then I switched to a jazz box, and put it in clean mode. It is amazingly warm and smooth. This amp seems to do it all, very well. So, that said, I have a bunch of gear going up for sale - finally getting rid of more Boogie gear, a few distortion boxes, THD Hot Plate, all the stuff that was band aids for other amps - don't need 'em. Thanks again for recommending this amp, and thank God for blessing you with the ears to find this little monster. Nuff said, back to playing."
— Al Dinardi (founder of Musician's Friend)
"My guitar buds love my Extreme Cream pedal, so you have sold two more of those. Once they hear my pure gain and compression, my guess is that there will be four more of your great product in use. Thanks for your response to my questions, and keep up the good work. Y'all make GREAT products, and our service is pretty great too!"
— Clay
"Got the Replay today. First, let me tell you how amazing this unit is. I played it for an hour and felt like 10 minutes. Just make my leads scream! This is hands down the best delay I have used in 20+ years. I am that impressed with it!"
— RJ
"Whoah baby! I don't know what to say, Andy. Your work is incredible. I've wanted one of your amps for 6 or 7 years and I never should have waited that long. It's polite if you want it to be. It's angry if you want it to be. I was kind of nervous with all the knobs and switches but I dialed in awesome tone in two seconds! Thanks, Andy! By the way, I tested it on the same day as a bad cat hot cat 30R and there is no comparison. The bad cat is nice but your amp is just way better."
— Alan (The Gear Page)
"Just wanted to tell you how pleased I am with the Plush Cream. I own a few high-end distortion pedals, none compare with the Cream. Thanks for making a great product."
— Dan
"I just purchased a REP-3 from Dan at Pedalgeek. I wanted to let you know that that thing just blows me away. I just got it Tuesday of this week. I plugged it in that night. It exceeded my expectations. You guys did an awesome job making that Time Delay machine. I was playing "Red House" and I discovered a setting that made that perfect bounce back sound Jimi was getting with an Echoplex. I have loads of other Time Delay pedals, none of them can be dialed in to get that sound like the REP-3 does. The Wow and Flutter knobs are fantastic. They're so responsive and musical. The REP-3 is so organic and natural sounding. The REP-3 made my Summer."
— Ron Morgans
"I just wanted to let you know my reaction to my new ODS HRM 50/100 head. Simply amazing. I cannot stop playing through this. The sound, articulation, tone is something unique to itself. I have other boutique amps but this has its own certain Mojo that none of the others have and does it without hum and hiss. Well done!"
— Ron Connatser (a guy from Pelham, NH who loves to play guitar)
"Hello from France. I just bought a second hand Good Verbrations. Waow, I can't believe how inspiring this unit is, it just seems to bring out the best in me. Can't stop playing and playing and playing. Good Verbrations it is!"
— Stéphane
"However, using the same guitar, chord, and room, my Fuchs ran leaping circles arounding the Brown Note Blue Monkey. I wanted to like it. I really did. The seller was such a nice guy... BUT ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS TRY BEFORE YOU BUY. Keeping the Fuchs!"
— "Cyrja" on The Gear Page
"I absolutely am in love with the Fuchs 30w head. I can't imagine what it would sound like in one of your cabinets or as a combo, but I am over the moon with the tonality and versatility of the amp. From maybe the BEST overdriven sound I've ever heard to the stunning punch of the clean tones even at low volume, I am blown away."
— Scott Crompton of BLADE Studios
"My sound is way better than my Zendrive in the clean channel (or any other amp I have for that matter). The amp sounds awesome – I love it."
— John Aviza
"My new ODS30 is so nice! I just want to play all the time now. I have a small studio and 30 watts seems to be perfect for what I need."
— Dave Dickson
"I have a Plush Drive and a Plush Cream, and the more I use 'em, the more I really like 'em. I use the Drive for slightly overdriven tones and the Cream for a little heavier overdrive. These pedals stack incredibly well and they are becoming my go to pedals for light-to-medium gain tones. These are terrific pedals and I just wanted y'all to know how much I enjoy using them."
— Chris
"I have recently purchased an ODS 50 SLX (used) from eBay. Let me first say that it is exactly what I was looking for, and sounds incredible. I am just a working man, and don't have tons of extra money. I sold my Bruno Cowtipper to take a chance/gamble on the Fuchs. Man, am I ever glad, my bandmates have been complimenting my new sound left and right. A very satisfied Fuchs owner! This amp cuts through the mix so much better than my Cowtipper 35. It has made a world of difference in my band. THANKS!"
— Kevin S.
"I actually jumped ship there for an amp that had 3 separate channels and a solo boost. The problem is that I like your ODS amps the best and the others [in this case a brand new Red Plate Cosmic Dust] just can't touch it. I didn't think my ODS-100 would sell as quick as it did for the price I was asking. Anyhow - it did sell - and I did receive the Red Plate and hated it from the first chord. I just knew it didn't have it. My local GC had an ODS-30 sitting there for a year and I just went and grabbed it yesterday. That amp sounds better than any pedal by itself - so kudos to you for building a great amp."
— Anon
"My dad is currently using a Fender Twin re-issue ODS mod from you guys. Seriously, what a stellar amp. Also, just so you know, after we acquired the TWIN ODS and let some locals here in Des Moines, IA try it out, well, basically we created a growing community of Fuchs players. A Fuchs monster, if you will. And it is awesome. Great stuff, guys. My pops was using a Bogner combo previous to getting the ODS he has now, and the Bogner is amazing. The Bogner is sitting in a flight case in the corner. The ODS goes to the gigs. That I think speaks for itself."
— Jordan Eganhouse-Cloe
"I just received my Blackjack 21-II. Oh my God this amp is awesome! I actually found 'the amp' that I can use all the time anywhere! Thank you and please tell Andy he's amazing!"
— Joel Del Rosario
"OMG just got home from my first gig with my new BJ21 MKII head. Wow. I literally played it for the very first time on stage so I have not even scratched the surface of what tones I will be able to get out of it. What I dialed in tonight sounded amazing. I can't wait to spend a little time with it tomorrow. Gigging tomorrow night with it and I should be well prepared. What a great sounding amp. Love it."
— John Giannicchi
"I got my modded Fender Twin Reverb amp, it sounds amazing! Nice tone character, powerful voice. I love this amp, man! You did really great job."
— Daisuke Kuroda
"I'm the proud owner of another one of your products, the HRM! I have two, the reg 100 ODS combo and now the HRM head for cabs. By the way, I bought a two rock 100 watter, took it back and bought the HRM! You got some cool shit happening, sir."
— Al Spears
"The amp sounds great! I play the amp through a 2x10 cabinet with Tone Tubby San Rafael speakers. I have played a Fender Strat and PRS SE semi-hollow through the amp and both guitars sound really nice. But I also have a PRS Custom 22 with P90s. The Lucky 7 and a mahogany guitar with P90s is a match made in "amp heaven". The P90s really make that amp sing. It's very warm, full, and has a very nice bass-y sound."
— Ben Talotta
"I have really been digging the amp and, since I am a teacher, I always have to put my thoughts into words or music. For this reason, I formulated this message. I have really been thinking about the ODS 100 that I bought, and what it is that differentiates this amp from other boutique amps. When I spoke with you about purchasing the amp in previous emails, I mentioned that I have owned several Fenders and, a while back, a Soldano Hot Rod head. I have also heard many boutique amps at shops, as well as onstage from top-notch musicians. Many good amps, as well as boutique amps, may have one or two good tones, but don't have a range of tones that you can acquire out of your amps. The Fuchs ODS 100 does it all. As I cranked it up again yesterday, I noticed how distinct each of the features on this amp are. When I switch the bright switch, I can hear the accent of the brightness with both channels. When I switch from Jazz to Rock, I can hear the push from one to the other. Both the clean and Overdrive channels on this amp are crisp. With the Soldano, there is not much range in terms of tone. I know many people brag about the SLO. With the SLO you can get the crunch, or a really heavy distortion. I play blues and classic rock, so this was not my cup of tea. Great amp, but not my cup of tea. With the ODS I can go from clean jazz to blues and even to metal if I wanted it. Not only is this a solid built amp with high quality parts, you are able to acquire any desired sound. I have played for over 20 years, and I am now done tone searching. I will always experiment with guitars, but I have found my amp for all of my musical needs. Thanks for the great craftsmanship! You turned me on to the best amp ever! Fuchs amps all the way! I need to ask my wife to scrape up a few bucks for the "Wanna Fuchs?" shirt. That is nice. Ha!"
— Eric Shay (Satisfied Fuchs Customer)
"Hello and good evening from Germany. The ODS-50 amp sounds great and I think that my searching for the right tone has come to an end."
— Michael Jonek
"I just got an ODS-30 and I'm in love. My forty-year search for THE perfect amp is over and may now jam in peace. Bless you Andy Fuchs."
— Jim Pine
"WOW! What an amp!!!! Frankly, I opened the box, got it down in the basement, hooked it up to my one (now I'll have to get a proper one) 4 ohm cabinet, and went to town. It was late at night when my wife came downstairs and asked if I would stop playing so she could get some sleep. Yep, it's a "lost time" amp! It sounds so incredible you just can't stop playing, and before you know it, hour after hour have gone by without you noticing. This is the best sounding amp I've ever owned, and I've been playing and amp buying-selling-trading for 35 years, but THIS IS IT! My quest for THE tone is over. Of all the amps I've owned, Marshalls, Boogies, Fenders, boutique amps, dozens of them over the years, THIS is the one. It reminds me of a Dumble a friend of mine had in the early '80s. Not a sound in it that isn't glorious, just like that particular amp. I've played through two other Dumbles, and they were good, but not nearly as good sounding as your Fuchs mod I received yesterday or my friends' old Dumble, which he sold for a 20k profit about ten years ago. He needs to go out and get a Fuchs! Andy, you are a genius!"
— Michael O'Gorman
"I'm loving the ODS mod. I can't believe how many great tones are inside of it. I used it at a gig the weekend after I picked it up and got several compliments on the tone. People (including myself) were blown away by the quality of the mod work, all of the features and the value. I searched around for a while in my hunt for a new amp and I couldn't be happier with my choice."
— Scott Anderson
"I received the ODS-100 amp yesterday, and it is a tone beast. I love it. This is a keeper! Sounds fantastic!!!!"
— Eric Shay
"I have been playing the Train 45 for about four years now and I cannot stop praising and appreciating the wonderful tone you have created and have not played through another for a while now... Thanks a lot for your time and your tireless effort producing such fantastic amps and pedals."
— Ginger Valencia
"I love this amp more now than when I purchased it two years ago. Thanks again for turning me on to a great amp."
— Mike Riddle
"We are loving the new Fuchs amp you guys built. My son Eddie and I put it to good use at a little music festival last weekend at the Redgate Ranch in the SF Bay Area. Had mucho positive feedback about the sound! Most were saying it was the guitars and the artists, but we all know the secret is the amp!"
— Ed Divita
"I scanned thru the website and WHAT did I see, my little beauty proudly sitting there in all her beauty in your Mods Photo Gallery. Can't thank you enough, the amp sounds fantastic."
— Marty Grant
"I picked up my amp on Saturday and played all afternoon. It's got to be the best amp I ever owned. My buddy Joe was with me, so I said 'where do you think I should set the controls.' He goes 'put it where you think it sounds good'. So, I did. We played it like that for about 2 hours without changing anything, it sounded great! Latter, I put it in deep and got an outstanding jazz tone. Plus, the reverb sounds great... So, as you can see, I only scratched the surface, but it is outstanding so far. I can see tons of possibilities. You really make outrageous amps!"
— Rob Engel
"Thanks so much for the excellent work on the amp I brought in for repair, the 83 Fender Concert Amp that you finished a couple of weeks ago. I'm more impressed every day with the sounds I can get out of it, and the clean channel is pure blackface, while whatever you did with the overdrive channel is simply magical. On your advice, I also replaced the speaker... I was able to get a used Weber Michigan Alnico, which really brought it to life (especially the overdrive channel). I am enjoying the excellent work you did and recommending you to anyone I know who needs work done on their amps!"
— John Radzin
"I received the Fuchs amp that you guys built for me today. All I can say is: Thank you! It is so sweet. It's 12:30pm on a Monday night and I'm still jamming. I found my base settings pretty quickly... and now I'm exploring the outer ranges. The amp just sings and you can create voices so easily. Sorry to be such a guitar and amp nerd but this is just too fun. Sweet dreams!... for me... thanks to Fuchs."
— Ed
"Just wanted to drop you a quick note. Since we usually use the Fuchs ODS-30 (w/P3) we bought from you for NAMM and demos, etc., I haven't really used it in a real-world situation in a long time (at least 2 years), and I also don't want to mess it up cosmetically so I don't use it on gigs. I usually use a Fender Super-Sonic combo or Vox AC-15 combo for gigs. Anyway, this week I took the ODS and ran it through one of my Marshall 4x12s in a full-volume situation... GOOD GRACIOUS!! I am going to have to buy an anvil case and use that thing all the time. Great work. I had forgotten (shame on me)."
— Jason
"I'm convinced had he lived, Duane Allman (or Lowell George), would have a Dumble or a Fuchs, because just listen to Bonnie Raitt or Sonny Landreth -- ultimate slide tone there. I do believe Derek Trucks has a Fuchs. On the ODS-type amp, I've had a Fuchs ODS for a 4 years or so and it still amazes me how great it sounds every time I use it. It's not only the overdrive, which is glorious, but the cleans are great too. I've never played through a Dumble, but I've used a lot of other amps over the years and I sometimes wonder how I managed before I had this amp."
— BGTele (Internet Posting)
"Ditto on Fuchs. Fuchs Audio Technology, 407 Getty Ave, Clifton. Best music electronics in the state, bar none. Rt 46 E exit off the Parkway, just a little bit into Clifton. Great old building, like 19th-century factory brick. He has a display of his fantastic amps in a sort of reception area and a couple guitars around to try them. Nice guy. Sensitive to musicians' needs. His amps and pedals will make your head explode. Good Italian Hot Dogs not too far away, potatoes and peppers cooked in that good dirty oil, make your heart explode. Hey, grease me up one, Joey!"
— Groovey Records (Internet Posting)
"I know there is a seat for every arse, but Fuchs amps are incredible sounding, especially the TDS models. Andy really nails the Dumble modified Fender clean tone and feel. I have a Fuchs modified Bassman 50 that is my favorite go-to amp (when I can play) and it is a great bargain considering what a ground up build or a Dumble costs."
— tonyinbermuda (Internet Posting)
"Our guitarist uses both Dumble and Fuchs. Amazing tone. The Dumbles I've seen for sale are between $35 and $45K. Way too much for an amp. The Fuchs are much more accessible and more reasonably priced."
— siddacat (Internet Posting)
"Played my [ODS 30 combo] amp for hours I can't believe the range of tones! Outstanding! And no issues! Superb customer service and superb amp."
— Phil Burke
"It's such a joy to deal with you guys. A company with incredible expertise and top notch customer service... What a concept... wish it would catch on more!!! Not to mention the best toys on the block!!"
— Jerry Feldstein
"I would like to say thank you so much for the incredible hospitality and the prompt repairs to my Peavey amps. The Fuchs' & Co. are definitely going to be one of my greatest treasures found in my musical future. Thank you for the T-shirts, as I will wear them in "Pride" as well as promoting the company every chance I get."
— John Roggio
"I am glad to report my valve job is great and then some... I am EXTREMELY happy with it & am an instant Fuchs fan. Looking forward to purchasing more Fuchs products ASAP."
— Novak
"Just love my new Train 45. Does everything as advertised. Creamy, touch sensitive, thick, and wide. I'm taking it on a cross-Canada tour with Burton Cummings starting Friday."
— David Love
"You guys friggin ROCK!! You didn't need to send a power supply, but you did and I am so appreciative... That Valve Job pedal is amazing... Every time I use it I get hammered by guitar players who want to know how I get that tone... I almost wanna put a brown paper bag over it!"
— Jerry Feldstein
"[My Fender Super Reverb ODS mod] really is the best sounding amp I've owned."
— Bernardo
"I purchased a 50-watt Clean Machine last year. I love it. It's perfect, the quality of my Clean Machine is unmatched. Thank you!"
— Todd Merideth
"I bought a Fuchs Train-45 from Long & McQuade here in Toronto today and I must say that I absolutely love it. I have been a full-time player for the last 18 years and am currently playing with Burton Cummings (www.burtoncummings.net) and I bought the Train-45 to take out on a cross-Canada tour with me in May."
— David Love
"I own an ODS 30 Head, hands down the best amp I have ever owned! Thank you all again for the incredible amps you build. There are those of us who are in our own little 'tone world,' we thank you."
— Kevin Peacock
"And so you know, if you don't already, [the Replay is a] killer delay. I've owned a lot of them, and by far, this one is best."
— Ryan Horn
"Just wanted to let you know that I got the big Replay and it's such a great Delay. I absoultely dig it! =) I can run the amp at a good volume now. The chorus you can get with the wow and flutter, amazing. Love it. Thanks for such a great product."
— Daniele Bucco (Germany)
"Just wanted to drop you guys a line, and tell you how great I think your pedals are. Normally, I don't contact manufactures in this way, but it's because your stuff sounds so amazing that I felt compelled to give you a heads up. I purchased the Plush Drive pedal a couple of days ago. I plugged it into my Fender Twin, hit the first note and instantly knew. Like you know when you pick a good melon at the market. I immediately ordered the Cream pedal. Needless to say, I am in tonal Valhalla with thunder and lightning, that's what I call my two new pedals. :) The Plush pedal goes down like a 20-year-old scotch. The Cream pedal is the Tube Screamer all grown up. It's more Tube Singer than Tube Screamer if you ask me. Kind regards from a new Fuchs disciple."
— Joel Goicohea
"WOW!!! What sweet noises caress my eardrums! All I can say utterly superb!!! Annette, you are a devil with that soldering iron!!! Without doubt, the most fantastic sounds in the entire cosmos come from a Fuchs ODS!!!! There's lots of playing to be done, possibly 'til my fingers wear up my elbows!!! My eternal gratitude to your goodself and. Mr Andy Fuchs."
— Ian (Very Jolly) Powell
"Hello to everyone at Fuchs! I have a wonderful older Music Man ODS conversion I recently acquired. I am 48 years old and have owned EVERY amp under the sun at one time or another. This amp is absolutely incredible. I thought my Bruno was the hands down champion of tone but damned if it wasn't dethroned by this little wonder. Again, I have had them all and am just amazed at how versatile and EASY it is to get exemplary tones from this amp. I have a love/hate relationship with Mesa products, I liked the way the gain stages cascaded but didn't like the way the tone controls complicated the dialing in process. This thing has such wide ranging tonal control that you are at the sweet spot almost immediately after getting your gain set. Wow. Harmonics jumping all over the place! And this is in my basement dungeon area, every amp I have sounds compromised there - going to get it into my 'live' room tonight. Can't wait. Thanks in advance for your time and continue doing what you do."
— Doug Bonnett (Lincoln, NE)
"I was showing the ODS off at the local blues jam Monday night and let's just say I'm pretty much the envy of everyone! Haha! And thanks again, it's been awesome working with you."
— Jarrod Locher
"I love the amp! It's very tonally varied yet brings out each of the different tones in my guitars. From Strat, p90 and HH guitars, they all sound great once tweaked. I'm playing my EL34 version through a Fuchs Cab with Celestion 65s and they sound great."
— Ty Roberts - OFFICIAL FUCHS AMP PLAYER!
"I'm very happy with this amp, I never got such an outstanding sound with any other amp before. Greetings from Vienna."
— Manfred Lindner
"I just brought it to the studio and cranked some stuff with my PRS - really cool tones, just beautiful articulate cleans and the overdrive is so responsive, just crying lead notes. It's just a fantastic amp - you should be proud. But I have to say, late at night, when I have to keep the volume at its lowest point possible, I still get these beautiful expressive tones. I have to say I'm very happy with my new amp."
— Charles
"Today, the repaired Valve Job pedal arrived at my home. It works to perfection and I really love it. I already own an Extreme Cream pedal and, meanwhile, I decided to replace all my pedals by Fuchs products exclusively. I wish to express my thanks for your brilliant service and support!"

"While I can't afford a Fuchs amp yet, when I saw someone on Craigslist post a brand new Plush Cream, I jumped at the chance to grab it. When I got it home I really couldn't believe the sounds I was getting out of this pedal. It's a TS808 with body and soul. Tone knob down and it acts like a really decent fuzz. Tone knob up and I'm into treble booster land. Incredible! My only problem was now I had the perfect pedal to round out my rhythm tone ... and my leads, but on different settings! The first thing I thought was "I have to get another!" Then I saw your Plush Extreme Cream and I was glad to see so many other people felt the same way. In front of my Bassman, Garnet Rebel and Marshall JMP this pedal adds +10 to all of them. Killer work. I'm at work myself and all I can think about is getting home to play. Let me know if you ever need an apprentice in Canada!"

"So far I like running the Verbrator to the effects loop of the amp and running the Replay in the effects loop of the Verbrator and (Rich's suggestion) returning from the Wet Output on the Replay. Very sweet!!! Thanks for building such cool stuff. I am a picky bastard when it comes to sound and your stuff sounds great!"
— Chris Anson
"Thanks ANDY! The Clean Machine-100 is the best amp I ever played through. It may be the one that 'does it all' for me. I finally plugged my Strat in there around midnight last night, had a very short conversation with Lansdown Police Dept. right around 12:20am! But... wow, the Strat was KILLIN'. I use no effects and plug straight into the amp."
— Charlie X
"At the amp show my focus drew down to Bludotone, Carol-Ann and Fuchs. Obviously your remarkable TDS won out."
— Pete
"I have a Train 45, and "Burn" is a good way to describe it: there's so much immediacy and energy, it might as well be jumping up and down with its shorts on fire. Sustain for days, readily controllable feedback, excellent dynamic control and detail reproduction."

"Greetings from Finland! I traded in my Monster El Mariachi head and cab (local boutique manufacturer) for newish Fuchs Blackjack 21 head and so far we have enjoyed each other for 3 hours or so. All I can say [is] wow! It is ridiculously simple to set up and it produces all the best classic rock sounds from yesterday just like that. And you actually do not need to wind it up to get a good tone – I had gain set to 9:30 (o'clock) and I was able to have plausible Angus tone when digging to the strings hard enough (I was using Gatton tele during the session, I do have a nice SG but I forgot to swap guitars while enjoying the tone)."
— Petri Norman (Helsinki, Finland)
"I have my TDS amp now for a reasonable time and I want to thank you personally. This amp has the gain and tone structure that I have in mind for a long time. It sounds musical, mature, timeless and is very sensitive. The biggest compliment I ever received as a musician is that I sound like myself, no matter on which gear I play, but for the first time it also matches in my mind. This is the biggest compliment that I can give to you."
— Patrick Dujardin
"I mentioned it before about a year ago but it bears repeating that I've owned a TR CR Sig v.2, a Bruno Super 100 and your ODS and that the ODS hands down has the best OD channel of any of them. Thanks for making such a wonderful amp!"
— Patrick

"This is the amp I have been looking for for so many years, it is amazing!"
— Ulf Meyer (Germany)
"Absolutely incredible. I truly feel like I've never owned one of your amps before. This is such a different beast and it reacts just like I had imagined all along. I've already heard so many things that are a bizillion times more articulate and every thing else is the same (guitars, cables, speakers, etc). It seems extremely easy to dial in (to you enough. What a masterpiece!"
— Mike Doss
"First, I must complement you on manufacturing a one GREAT amplifier! I use several wonderful tube amps depending on the gig - Marshalls, Fenders a Bogner Shiva - and the Fuchs ODS is truly one impressive amplifier. It took me a few hours to gain reasonable skill to shape the sound and now [I] can't wait to plug in and play. What a killer sound!"
— Joe Radovic
"Joe and I took our ODS and TripleD out to a session. There was a guy there with a Blodosomething. Yeah, we felt bad for him so he changed to our rig and he smiled. It was a cool moment."
— James Kolman
"I've bought a used TDS custom HT with an Artist six-way footswitch. I have to thank you for building such fantastic amps. Absolutely great! I'm very pleased with it, and best regards from Germany."
— Bernd Lindner
"First of all I want to thank you for the help, and great customer service. This thing sounds ridiculous... I know you hear that all the time, but I've owned many, many (too many) tube amps over the years (Marshall, Fender, Vox, Ampeg, Mesa, etc... etc...). Nothing else has come close to this. The elusive tone has always been greener on the other side. That never-ending quest for sonic salvation is over, hallelujah this is the promised land! (Got it used for $400?!!! Total score of a lifetime. Poor punk rock kid didn't know what he had!) Anyway... Thank you very much!"
— Corey Dean (Little Pasadena, CA)
"The Fuchs Reverb Pedal is frankly the best digital reverb pedal I've played."
— Jack Zucker/The Gear Page
"I don't think I've ever heard a Dumble clip from Scott, but some of his Fuchs clips are phenomenal for both the tone and the playing, and I don't think you could get much better than that from any amp."
— Posted on The Gear Page 2010 by FlyingVblues
"I've had the amp for about a month now and my reaction is the same as when I talked to you after first firing it up. This is a really, really, really good amp. I haven't found anything that it won't do for me. Sounds stellar with a Strat, LP, ES and my Tele has never felt or sounded better. The feel compared to what I had been used to (vintage Fender stuff, Boogies, 65 Amps) is an order of magnitude more satisfying and immediate and the range of tones is really wide. It makes pretty much all of my other equipment just so much excess baggage. I've never owned an amp that is this dynamic and expressive. Seriously... this thing with the Tele... it's shocking."
— Kevin Kastner
"I'm a session guitarist, singer, and a pop country writer. I'm crazy about old-school country guitar pickin' as well. So I'm always searching for my tone! How original, huh? I'm playing and touring with hit writer Anthony Smith. He has number ones for Goerge Strait, Rascal Flatts, etc. Any hoo, I was at the rental place at soundcheck here in Nashville just snooping around and plugged into the triple channel amp of yours and... MYGOD! I use an old '62 Brownface Deluxe that has always been with me. The clean channel was kinda like my Brown Deluxe circuit but with WAY more possibilities, tone and forwardness. Is it me or are the country pickers all missin the boat on these amps?! It simply makes a regular Fender circuit sound limp and unsure of itself. You make GREAT sounding amps. BRAVO!"
— Ford Thurston (Nashville, TN)
"WOW! A big thanks to you and your entire staff/crew. What an incredible amp! I have been lusting for a tone machine like this for years. Unbelievable response and dynamics/overtones and with virtually no operational hum/hiss! I can't unplug, so gratifying. I can now again focus on practicing and developing my own voice on the instument - as it should be. A sincere thanks again!"
— Kevin Peacock
"I love the Valve Job pedal I purchased from you through Radical Tone. It sounds fantastic through my amp with both humbucker and single-coil guitars, and really delivers the boutique-amp overdrive vibe without the high cost. This is the first piece of gear I've owned in years that truly inspires me. I also want to thank you for your excellent customer service and for the help you gave me in finding the sound I was looking for. I am definitely a satisfied customer."

"I can't stop playing thru this amp and just losing all sense of time and space - what a sweet and singing sound - with any guitar (yesterday was "Strat and 335 day"). Sounds awesome in any channel or mode at any volume. I can't imagine a better sound than what I have right now! Having way too much fun - thanks again for everything! You addressed all my requests to perfection."
— Dick Bauerle
"Just wanted you to know that I've just purchased an ODS 50 combo. I have owned over one hundred amps in my career. This is the biggest improvement I could ask for in my tone. It is exceeding my expectations by the moment. I really can't believe it. I am by no means a media darling, but I do play nationally in Canada and a lot of people are going to be hearing me play with your amp. My last CD earned me a nomination for "Best Blues Guitarist" from the Toronto Blues Society. I can't wait to hear what happens on my next CD."
— Bill Johnson
"OK! I spent a few hours yesterday with the Fuchs opened up and with it sitting right next to the Dumble. I went back and forth and dialed in the Fuchs as close as I possibly could to the big D. I used the Mesa 4/12 for both while I was doing it. What’s difficult is when I dialed in the single notes on the Fuchs to sound like the Dumble's, then the chords were too bright. When I dialed in the chords to match the Dumble's, then the single notes were to dark. SOOO... I put on my little gray thinking cap and set it right in the middle! Now the Fuchs sounds great all over! A little brighter than the Dumble on the bottom, and a little darker on the top, but a great balance, and SMOOTH singing sustain for DAYS with plenty of brightness on top, not dull. VERY VERY GOOD! I think I am going to try an EV in it and, if that works, close off the back entirely to help the bottom end on the little combo. I can always plug in any of my cabs as well. KILLER amp for a price that is a total STEAL. I will do some more clips asap. These things are a downright BLAST to play!"

"I'm a pro harmonica player. I picked up a reverberator pedal and I'm blown away with how it sounds and how it reacts with a mic, huge and very real. Normally, a guitar-specific pedal tends to sound small and quite "glassy" with a bunch of high frequency info that doesn't work well for harp. Anyhow, I love it!"
— Mike Stevens
(www.mikestevensmusic.com)
"The best guitar reverb I've ever heard on my pedalboard. I used to use the T-Rex Room Mate, which is a great pedal! Couldn't get those thick and deep reverb out of it, as possible with the Plush Verbrator. You can dial in a big variety of different reverb sounds, from small room to large stadion, only with the 2 knobs (Level, Decay). I run it right before the regular amp input jack, after all my other effect pedals. I put in a JJ tube, which is known to be very stable and dead quiet (no microphonic). It alway sounds natural, warm & full, very musically, and your guitar sound is always altered in a nice manner. If you like high quality reverb you MUST try this pedal!"

"Fuchs Audio Technology Royal Plush. Nice simple... compressor (Optical) Level knob and Bias knob... Recording chain, and live chain... Too many components in the chain to list... Fits in seamlessly. Put it on the front end... Good design, excellent sound quality with few artifacts introduced into the signal. Overall a good clean, simple design. No signal squashing!"

"Took the plunge and ecstatic with the high-Fi sound of this monster. Cleans BEG you to play longer... very dynamic in rock mode... tamed in Jazz without compression, which baffles me... BIG difference between the 2. 30 watt combo... plenty versatile and loud enough for vintage rock R&B band... reverb is FINALLY as it should be... absolutely awesome... Best effects loop I have ever heard... out of about 40 amps I've owned, this is the most versatile hands down so that's a 10! Dead quiet except for full tilt overdrive. I was a tad disappointed with overdrive at first until the Mahogany MONSTER '87 PRS was plugged in... Hello, Carlton & Ford and then some... woah! Cascading gain stages has always been my approach and Fuchs figures out how to do it right for "that sound" I have always craved. Each guitar retains its character very well. The cleans have an astounding hi-fi quality as if running through a NEVE console or high end tube preamp... amazing textured cleans very dynamic and very 'stringy'... beautiful! Been through about 200 gigs by first owner and looks dead mint... tight and very well built. First guy said never had a problem whatsoever. Man, these guys are amazing... answer emails immediately. Heard they were really good, etc. Been there for me with questions every time. I L O V E the sound and it is more than I expected at any price. Feature heavy as amps go. It was the most I have spent in a while on a rig and worth every cent. Life's too short to let life or wife rule! Yes, I'd get another."

"I don't think tone is all in the fingers. Jimmy Herring is a good example. I've heard that guy play through so many rigs, 5150, Fender Super Reverb, Soldano Slo, Mesa 2/90 rig, vintage Marshall Super Lead, Fuchs ODS and TDS. He sounds the same through each but colored differently. And, to be honest, I think the Fuchs rigs are so touch sensitive that he is able to unleash all sorts of different riffs and goodies that I haven't heard him pull off with his other rigs."

"I just wanted to say how very, very impressed I am with Fuchs products. I just purchased a Plush Cream pedal and it is the best overdrive pedal I've ever heard, period! I've been playing guitar for over 25 years and I've had my share of pedals, but the Fuchs line is the cream of the crop! I hope to get an amp one day as well. Thank you Fuchs for making the best products around and the very best of luck to all."
— Ed
"I spent all day playing the Blackjack-21 after it arrived this morning. I am now about to take it out to my gig tonite. Please relay to Andy how much I LOVE THIS AMP. In 22 years of gigging, touring, and recording I've never heard anything like it. 21 watts of pure guitar heaven, with just the right touch of out of control mayhem and carnage thrown in for good measure. It's the best sounding piece I've ever owned, and may well be the best amp ever!"
— G.S. Harper (Cleveland, OH)
"Hey Andy! Just wanted to let you know that Panic's sound guy, Chris Rabold, is using the verbrator on the snare drum out in front of house! This guy has all the Eventide's and Lexicon's anyone could ever want, but he prefers the Verbrator! I thought you'd get a kick out of that! When he heard how good it sounded on my Leslie cab with the Clean Machine, he freaked out!"
— Jimmy Herring (Widespread Panic)
"I finally had a chance to work the amp in a live setting. As luck would have it, I was asked to sit in for the regular guitarist who was suffering a bout of carpal tunnel, so I got to play all night instead of on just a few tunes. I am more than pleased with this amp! I often suffer from ear fatigue later on in a gig and tend to "lose" my sound. This did not happen last night. The tone of this amp is so consistent from clean gain to full overdrive it cut through the mix without having to be offensively loud. Instead of wondering where my amp went, I was able to focus on my playing. I don't think that's too much to ask and the ODS delivered beautifully!"
— Chris
"I just wanted to let you know that my TDS100HRM is awesome. Tons of tonal possibilities! I found that the right speakers made all the difference for me and I couldn't be happier! I'm able to hang in that tonal pocket that is easy on the ears and warm yet is still articulate and can cut through the mix. After my first rehearsal with the FUCHS my band was like, "You really aren't gonna play those other amps anymore are you?" I told them that I'm going to keep them around, but I hope that I don't need to use them. Great work! I'm smiling bigger, and sounding better."
— Jim Sanborn
"The purchase of my Fuchs ODS-50 combo and subsequent factory mods and hand-tuning were far more than I would ordinarily spend on one music gear item but the resulting amp far exceeds all of my hopes and expectations and ended any interest in other amps altogether. Were I operating on a larger scale budget I could easily see spending $50K on a Dumble if it were that much better than my Fuchs (very hard to imagine this - my Fuchs is THE perfect amp for me). These amps definitely have their own thing going on."
— The Gear Page Post
"Thanks for the info on the Verbrator. I had the chance to spend a little time with one recently, and it's such a well conceived, useful, and toneful bit of gear! Compliments to the chef! We'll put a link to you guys on the gear page of my website about it. Thanks, and all the best."
— Matt Schofield
"By the way, the TDS is the most outstanding amp I've ever played and I'm playing for over 30 years now!"
— Luís Lapa from Portugal
"I just wanted to let you Fuchs' know how great the Noxious stomp box sounded that I won at The Amp Show today. I put its output directly into the amp section of my Line 6 Spider Valve amp and totally had a blast tweaking knobs and jamming. I particularly enjoyed how easy it was for me to get some squealing going when I had the gain, high and output knobs up a bit. I regret not playing through the display model you had in your room today, so you could have seen me first hand having some fun with the display box. Oh well, I at least want you to know I'll be having some fun with this bad ass little box for many years to come. I put a link with a picture up on my Facebook page, so I hope all of [my] guitar playing friends will give you guys a good look, if they have not already."
— Danny
"I just want to say that this is a wonderful amp! I played it for about 2 hours before my wife forced me to quit. The 5 hours drive back from Chicago's Maken 'n Music to Detroit was painful because I couldn’t wait to play it again. I'm in tone heaven!"
— Paul Phillips
"My band has been recording our latest CD at Jamie Cerniglia's studio in Bel Air, MD and I have been a Bassman user for some time, but as of late I am just not happy with the sound I have been getting. When I told Jamie that I was looking for a new sound he told me not to bother bringing my beloved Bassmans into the studio. I plugged into the Train 45 with a 412 greenback loaded cabinet and the sound was AWESOME! Wow! I am amazed at the punch and the lowend growl I could get! It is the best amp! I have never used a Fuchs and am still excited at the sounds we were able to get! Jamie dialed in some great tones and hearing is truly believing! If you need a Maryland Fuchs rep Jamie Cerniglia is the man! I am saving my money and hope to buy one very soon! It sounded great with every guitar I ran through it. It loved Les Pauls, Strats and really loved PRS! Thank you so much for creating this amp! It is the greatest!"
— Mike Hatfield
"Really easy to use: two channels (Warm and Hot) each with tone, gain and volume controls. This pedal sounds outstanding. The Warm channel is a replica of the Fuchs Cream pedal, a great tube amp like deep sounding overdrive. The Hot channel is a touch more overdriven, with more sustain and a sharper, clearer attack, perfect for solos. So far this pedal sounds like a millions bucks and gives me great versatility with its dual channel feature. To make room for it on my pedal board, I'm putting aside an 80's JRC4558 equipped Boss SD-1, a Vox Satchurator and an MXR DD-11."
— Extreme Cream Testimonial (Harmony Central User Review)
"Used the modded Music Man last night. Bob Elliot, who does most outdoor concert work around here, and all the musicians complimented the sound and said it was "Fat". I think I'll name the amp "Little Fatty". That way, if I ever do a video clip with Lester (Les Paul), it could be entitled "Lester Gets It On With Little Fatty". I bet the internet porn surfers will be disappointed, but so will some Two Rock owners. lol."
— Ralph Delucia
"So I was finally able to play through the Lucky 7 yesterday - great amp! It was a lot louder than I thought that it would be so I don't think I'll be having any volume problems. I love the cleans on it, and the tone controls give it a wide array of sounds."
— Moses Kim
"Love all your amps. I'm fortunate now to own 5 of them!"
— Jim
"A fellow musician brought his FUCHS ODS modified Rivera amp to an open jam last night and I was completely blown away and converted."
— Chris Cangeleri
"I just love the gain-boost on this amp. Unlike my old Two Rock, the PAB doesn't suck my tone. Many thanks for an incredible amp."
— John Edmonds
"Played it into my Allen Accomplice at rehearsal the other night and it was simply stunning. Could not be happier, Andy. AMAZING JOB ON THE PEDAL!"
— Dave Charneski
"Andy, I am more than pleased. It is awesome. If anything, there is guilt about what I paid for what I got. I cannot describe the tonal pallete any better than the legions of players that know the quality of your products."
— James Kolman (Lake Grove, NY)
"The reverb is awesome! Sounds lush, warm and really adjustable to fit however you want to hear it. I'm kind of a reverb nut. I love it, but most verbs push your signal back. This does not do that, no matter how much you put into it. Sounds great. I've tried a lot, and this one is on the top of the heap."
— Joe Pitts
"Man, the good verbrations is awesome! What great reverb sounds from a pedal. Thanks, Andy. Man, you make great stuff for us guys to use."
— Joe Pitts
"This pedal sounds fantastic and I'm comparing it to an original Klon I purchased back in '97 and an Analogman KOT among others I have. This is truly a great sounding and versatile OD. My thanks go out to Fuchs for producing such a fine product."
— Archie
"I love the Pure Gain pedal. It's everything you say it is, and it just plain does the job!"
— Thomas Kendall
"Thank you so much for the useful and kind answer. Let me tell you that your amps are simply AMAZING!"
— Luís Lapa (Portugal)
"I once spent an afternoon at Make'n Music in Chicago with the most incredible amp I've ever played - a Fuchs Overdrive Supreme 30. I was particularly impressed with the "singing" tonal quality and the ability to bring it to feedback at will... You make a really great amp and I know there's one in my future ..."
— Dave Hotler
"Hi Mr. Fuchs & Co., I am delighted to say that I just purchased a used ODS30H (Serial 1277) and it is without question the most toneful, mind-blowing amp I have ever played. I have owned virtually everything out there: Fender, Marshall, Bad Cat, Kendrick, Matamp, Soldano, Atom, Bumbox - vintage, new, boutique, obscure - nothing compares. Thank you for producing the tone I have had in my head for years (which, incidentally, was always loud enough to drown out the voices). HA!"
— Zac Wrixon
"Tell Mr. Fuchs I have used my amp on tour to Croatia last year. It was a big hit. Tell Mr. Fuchs these are the best amps I have ever owned. Thank You."
— Freddie J. Cooper
"I recently purchased a TDS 100. And, without a doubt, it's the finest amp that I ever owned."
— Mike
"Just got a Plush Cream and wanted to tell you it's one of the few pedals that sounds just as I hope it would. What I would love for you guys to do next is make a Fuzz pedal that gets the smooth rich tones Eric Johnson gets with his, because there's not a single one on the market that gets close to my ears."
— Thomas Cusic
"Yesterday, I received my eagerly awaited Fuchs ODS 30 combo. I could not be happier with this amp... it's everything I've ever wanted from an amplifier. The nicest, warmest clean channel and smooth overdrive, with plenty of gain on tap. There are so many bells and whistles on this amp and I am just in awe of the design, build and tone coming from this amp. I have a long way to go in figuring out the various tones and settings for my style, but I have yet to get a less than awesome tone from this amp."

"I just wanted to let you know that I've spend the entire July 4 weekend getting to know my Fuchs TDS 100 amp a little better. And as you may or may not know, before purchasing this amp from you, I did a lot of independent research solely trying to talk myself out of buying this amp. Needless to say, I'm glad the research and your advice convinced me otherwise. So, for the second time in my musical life, this amp represents another great buy, compared to my Gibson L5. The easy way to explain my excitement about this amp is, "Wow". This amp was made for the soloist. This amp has a soul. I heard notes in my music that I've never realized was there. For the first time in my musical life, I experienced the "space" between the notes that I was playing. My sense of timing and articulation was dead-on even at 120 bpm. My wife, for the first time in 20 years of playing (more like making noises) said the amp sounded sweet and vocal. The only thing I've ever heard from my wife was, "please turn it down". Thank you for turning me on to a fascinating amp!"
— Mike
"By the way, your Extreme Cream pedal continues to "do it" for me. Easily the best OD I've ever owned. We're doing an outdoor gig tomorrow afternoon. I'm looking forward to opening it up a bit more. Should be fun."
— Bill Ivory
"Hi Andy. Two years down the road and I still get the same thrill every time I use my ODS 30."
— Greg Boland
"Got [my Royal Plush] on Friday... I dig it! Does EXACTLY what I had hoped - gives that nth degree smoothness and extra sustain at quieter clean & OD settings. It is quiet and also helps bring out that nice note definition "snap" without affecting the amp tone I've set up. Who could ask for more? It blows away the two-knob Keeley I had which, as you said, has more of a "sound". Keeley tends to 'squash' the sound, the Royal Plush just does what I described above. I guess you could say it's subtle, but only in the sense that most compressors add some "roundness" to a guitar sound usually at the expense of High Frequency content. This does not, which makes it a perfect companion piece to the ODS. Really does nice things with the mid boost on in OD mode! Yeah, a great piece to add to what was already a great sound; now it's even better! FYI, I have the level set at about 2:00, which appears to be unity gain, and the bias set between 9-11 as I'm still playing around a little to see how much I can get away with."
— Richard Bauerle
"Today I had to plug her in, man o man! This sound/tone lends creedance to the rumor that Michael the Arch-angel will be playing lead through a TDS-50 in heaven! Using a cab like mine, a Teese wah, a Zvex seek trem, a Boss [no true bypass] os2 distortion pedal and a Guyatone flip, tube echo effect. This rig with a custom 64 Strat relic gives me confidence that perfection may be possible after all! Thanks, man."
— John Schmucker
"I AM enjoying my amp! Had to have the grin that it gave me surgically removed!!! The TDS 100 is the greatest amp on the planet."
— Jeremy Montgomery
"Subject: The New Band And Your Amp

#1.) They said your amp is incredible. New guitarist wondered how to pronounce the name. We had fun with that. ;>)

#2.) They overwhelmingly preferred your built-in reverb to any external unit. In a bigger, more "exposing" room, I did too.

Your shit rocks."
— David Charneski
"I recently purchased the Plush Drive pedal... thank you... simply said... WOW!!!!"
— Mychael Moaze
"The ODS sounds fantastic! Way better than the Brown Note D'Lite that I also have."
— Benny
"Man, I am a tone freak. I have always been looking for these sounds. I'm also a gain freak, trying to get that perfect OD/distortion (like everyone else). Cleans/ODs doesn't matter. Pedals or amps, you have blown me away, and I'm sad that I didn't hear you guys sooner. I love something about everything FUCHS has their name on, so strange. Great Job."
— Patrick Knox
"I recieved the ODS last week ... earlier than expected I might add ... and it sounds absolutely amazing. I couldn't be happier with the amp and service I recieved from you."
— Larry Rhynerson
"This is easily the best TS-808 clone I have ever played, or ever hope to play. I took it into my local music store and we all A/B'd the Plush Cream with the TS-808, the TS-9, and the Maxon version of the 808. None of them even came close to the Fuchs. The way a pedal looks or its price mean nothing to me -- the only thing that matters to me is TONE. This pedal has it in spades! (Cream Pedal)"
— Jimmy James 902 (Harmony Central User Review)
"If I were to describe my overall tone as whole milk, this thing takes it to heavy cream. It is a thick and smoky overdrive. I've tried many of the 'dumble in a box' pedals, and to my ears, this one takes the prize. (Come on two rock, have a go?) Only had it for a few weeks. So far, no probs. Only thing is, it's the brightest blue led i've ever seen. I think it burned my retina :) Compared to the dumbell, gsr, and others, this nails the dumble tone. (Obviously, made by Fuchs.) (Plushdrive)"
— Liam (Harmony Central User Review)
"I do not own this pedal although I would certainly like to. I tried it in a store today and was frankly blown away and had to write a review. It simply makes your guitar more muscular and bold sounding without sacrificing any clarity - completely transparent. Not noisy at all. Great with Strats and Pauls. If you have a nice tube amp this pedal will get the most out of it. It's expensive, but for what it is, it's perfect - a powerful, quiet, and completely transparent and clear sounding boost. I've been playing for about 10 years, own some other nice pedals... Barber, Fulltone, Teese RMC and have played many more. Rock, blues, funk, fusion type stuff mostly, a bit of jazz. I presume this would be pretty good boosting a high gain amp too. Fuchs definitely got it right with this one!"
— Matt (Harmony Central User Review)
"Supernice Cleans, like Fender with a shimmer to it. Warmer, nicer smoother, but play with the switches and you get it all quacky or jazzy. Overdrive is one of the best I ever played and believe I had my fair share. This one turns you inside out... goose bumps for more than a day. It doesn't get in that Metallica, Heavy Metal genre... but hey, that's not what it is built for. The Reverb is 10/10 ! Absolutely and for 100% sure the best I ever had in an amp. Superb! Buy one. It's one-of-a-kind, an amp you won't let go!"

"Play one of these, then go down to your local Guitar Center and plug in to one the run-of-the-mill production amps and you will sell everything to get one of these, they are that good. I've been amp shopping for 2 years and have bought and sold almost 20 amps up 'till this one. I won't be selling this one. It will sit next to my old Marshalls that I've had for over 20 years as a permanent member of the family. If it were stolen or lost I would buy another as soon as possible. There are similar amps out there but their pricing is unrealistic and they don't have all the little nuances and features the ODS has."

"I have now owned this Fuchs ODS-50 SLX 1x12 combo for just over two years and I'm even more pleased with it now than I was when I brought it home. I have to say that I couldn't be more pleased with the amp. I haven't found an application for which it is anything less than ideally suited. It always inspires me and it always fits just right sonically. This amp is simply amazing for me! It still rates a solid 10 in my book!"

"B-t-w, traded in a Diezel VH4 for this (plus some $). Will never look back. Lots of good stuff on a Diezel VH4, but tonally no match whatsoever for this FUCHS. Night and day. A whole year with the VH4, and in one gig with the Frost 100, my whole playing game changed. Must say that I should have stuck with the Diezel Einstein, but even that is no FUCHS. The Frost 100 is no longer in production, the FUCHS Viper is the next evolution of this amp. It is the Holy Grail, for me. First show with the amp I kept turning to my bandmates and saying "TONE" over and over again. Unbelievable. Classic. Like having a totally fine girlfriend, I don't even care about looking at other amps now. I look at cabinets, but who doesn't? Diezel schmiezel. (Although all props to Peter, a hell of a nice guy, and his amps are good - however... if you are trying to choose between the two, I say go Fuchs yourself.)"

"I really appreciate all your responses and help getting me started on the FUCHS amps! I finally found some time to play the amp, although I used my Valve Jr. 112 closed back cab. This amp is absolutely everything and more! I am simply stunned, I have had sooooo many amps and always stayed away from Fuchs because I just got it in my head that they were some variation of a Boogie or something, boy o' boy, do I ever need my head examined, I can't believe I have been so presumptious to the point of actually hanicapping myself from something that is so obviously heads and tails above what is out there, truely AMAZING! I think I am going to quit building tube amps, this amp just humbled me, big time!"

"The Focker has elephant balls, lol! It definitely lives up to its name! Definitely does some cool shit and it has tone for days! YOU RULE!"
— Ralph Carbone
"I was in on Sat 2/21 tried and purchased the Extreme Cream Plush Drive. Great product. I was telling Andy that I have a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe amp and wondered if my guitar would sound as good playing that. Well it transformed my sound. Running through the amp's clean channel the sound is unbelievable for a Fender. Great experience! Andy couldn't have been more helpful and a great product. I will recommend it to all my guitarist friends."
— Lou Tedesco
"I have used the Verbrator on 3 gigs and 1 rehearsal and really enjoy it. The reverb sounds GREAT in the loop and in front of a '64 Bassman for jazz and blues... nice and quiet!"
— Dave Howard
"My ODS is all I use now, kick ass amp, can't tell you how many people come up at shows and comment on the amp! I am starting to record the next BYB CD in a month, I am planning on using the ODS exclusively..."
— Brian Rubner
"Last week, I purchased [a] 2008 Fuchs ODS30SLX Head from Eddie's Guitars. This amp is great!!! I am really satisfied with this "Tone". I had used [a] MESA TRIAXIS/2:90, but now I ... own one of the best tone generator finally!! Thank you!!"
— Hiroya Sakuma
"Just wanted to let you know that I got the amp in ample time and used it all during this weekend - please pass my compliments on to Andy. The amp rocks! Thanks so much!"
— Patrick Cross
"Andy, Thanks for being so genuine, down-to-earth and a great person all around. The amps are awsome!"
— Tom and Billy Fell
"I still haven't found any amp out there that comes near the sound quality, bass response or responds as well to pedals as the Clean Machine."
— Adam Hunt
"I plugged my Deluxe in at band practice last night for the first time and I am very happy with the work you did. With the Les Paul, the overdrive was just beautiful. I kept shocking myself when I looked down at my pedalboard to find that I wasn't using any pedals. You have definitely made some of my pedals unnecessary."
— Joe Kelliher
"Andy, I rec'd my ODS yesterday... all I can say is FANTASTIC! It sounds great. I have always mentioned your company's customer service and great response time and you have proven yourself once more. I wish you and Annette continued success and a great holiday season."
— Michael King (a happy customer)
"Your replay pedal ROCKS. I hooked it up stereo - hands down the best ever."
